Emmy Kate had her tonsils out last Monday. She did great!..We went in around 6am. and the procedure started around 8ish. I was a complete mess when they brought her back, just worried, and crying and praying, lots of praying.... Before the surgery they had to draw blood and of course give an iv, but I made sure they used numbing cream on her, poor sweetie..She was a little bit confused as to why she was at the hospital and she wasn't even sick..We kept trying to explain it to her, but of course she's 4 so..
The Dr. ordered some silly drug as they called it to calm her and make her feel real good and pretty sleepy. A nurse came over and made her a balloon puppet and she said my blue bunny, needless to say it was not a bunny, it didn't even look like a bunny, lol..hence the drugs..LOL..
Here are a few pictures of her yesterday 1 week after surgery, She is back at school today, and feeling more and more like herself each and every day. Praise God, its done and my baby girl is tonsil free.. :)
